Şengün & Partners Held an Internal Webinar on Contractual and Departmental Risks in Competition Law Compliance

As part of Şengün Akademi, Associate Ayça Buse Kendir delivered an internal webinar for Şengün & Partners titled “Considerations for Contracts and Department-Specific Risks in Competition Law Compliance Processes”.

The webinar offered a comprehensive overview of the potential legal and financial consequences of competition law infringements, the primary purpose of competition law compliance, and the fundamental prohibitions on practices that restrict competition. The key steps to be followed when reviewing contracts from a competition law perspective, as well as the main risks that may arise in the context of horizontal and vertical relationships, were also discussed. In addition, participants were briefed on the competition law risks that different departments may encounter depending on their areas of activity and the considerations for preventing such risks.
