Şengün & Partners Continues On-Site Studies on Corporate Risk Management for Workplace Accidents

The Risk, Compliance and Regulation Department of Şengün & Partners continues its on-site work. As part of the “Corporate Legal Risk Management and Compliance Programme for Workplace Accidents” for a leading company in its sector, the team conducted an on-site review of the company’s occupational health and safety practices and its processes for workplace accidents and near-miss incidents, with a focus on legal risk. Existing practices and processes were assessed through on-site inspections and interviews with the relevant departments. The roles, authorities and responsibilities of the human resources and administrative departments in occupational health and safety and workplace accident processes were also reviewed, together with interdepartmental processes from a legal risk management perspective. The study aimed to identify legal risks associated with workplace accidents, strengthen existing processes and support sustainable compliance with applicable legislation.

The on-site work was carried out at the company’s premises by Partner Gülşah Güven, LL.M., Senior Associate Betül Önal Payze, Executive Associate Öykü Gülsen, and Associate Ayça Buse Kendir.

Through all our work in this area, we aim to contribute to the effective management of legal risks arising from workplace accidents, the development of occupational health and safety processes and the strengthening of a corporate compliance culture.
